In order to extend the time table for the China - Europe trade lane, we keep exploring new routes for our customers.
Thus, in early November, we routed one of our Yiwu - Madrid trains for the first time via the CTS Container Terminal in Cologne, Germany. For the handling, we cooperated with CTS, RheinCargo and Transfesa – the latter organized the onward transport to Spain. With its excellent logistics facilities and owing to its geographical situation, Cologne could well be firmly established in the future as part of our China - Europe train schedules. Already today, InterRail Europe organizes seven trains per week ex China to Europe.
